Explore the special relationship between music and other art forms ... What kind of music makes you want to tap dance? What kind of music makes you want to tango? Designed for families with children ages 3-9.

The concert includes music by Pachelbel, Piazzolla, Copland, Gershwin, Bartók, and Stravinsky, all either inspired by, or used as a basis for dance. Two groups of dancers from the Hochstein School of Music and Dance will interpret Pachelbel's beautiful Canon in D, with choreography by their teacher, Diane Lewis.

Before the concert, your kids can take a creative movement workshop with Diane Lewis and also play "ping-pong" composer. Pre-concert activities begin at 1:00 pm.
