Purchasing Concert Tickets

The RPO Box Office, located at 108 East Avenue, is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (non-concert Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The Box Offices at the Eastman Theatre and at the Performance Hall at Hochstein are open only prior to performances. For most concerts, tickets will be available at the theatre beginning one hour prior to the concert until 20 minutes after it begins.

Public Telephone

Eastman Theatre: Located on the main floor, through the doors at the right side of the lobby.

Hochstein: Located on the lower level.

Hale Auditorium: Located on the main level near the restrooms.

Restrooms

Eastman Theatre: Located on the basement, mezzanine and balcony levels. There are no restrooms in the main lobby or in the orchestra section. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is available in the main hall of the Eastman School of Music. Please see an usher for assistance.

Hochstein: Located on the lower level. Accessible restroom is available on the main floor; see an usher on house left for assistance.

Elevators

Eastman Theatre: Access to the elevator is on the far right of the lobby; please see an usher for assistance.

Hochstein: There is no elevator in the Performance Hall at Hochstein.

Lost and Found

Lost items may be claimed with the house manager during and immediately after a concert. Items found in the Eastman Theatre after an RPO performance will be held at the Information Window at the Eastman School of Music. For more information, please call 274-1000 the next business day following the concert.

Complimentary coat check

Available in the basement, mezzanine and balcony levels of the Eastman Theatre. Please check with an usher the evening of the performance to determine which coat checks are staffed and available for use. At Hochstein, there are a limited number of coat hangers on the lower level, and there are coat racks available on both levels at Hale Auditorium.

Refreshments

Refreshments are available for purchase in the lobby and balcony sections prior to the performance and at intermission at most Eastman Theatre concerts. Food and drink are not permitted in the seating area of the theatre, except for bottled water.

Medical Emergencies:

Eastman Theatre has security personnel on site. In case of an emergency, patrons should see the nearest usher.

For Patrons with Wheelchairs and Special Needs

Special seating areas are available in the Eastman Theatre and Performance Hall at Hochstein for people with wheelchairs and special needs. Please discuss special seating needs with the box office when making your purchase. Please see the house manager or an usher for assistance being seated. People who use wheelchairs can enter Eastman Theatre through the first entrance to the lobby on Gibbs Street.

The Eastman Theatre is equipped with audio systems to assist the hearing impaired. Headsets may be obtained from an usher or the house manager prior to performance time.

Handicapped assistance dogs are welcome at any performance; special seating arrangements are not required.

Need a Helping Hand?

RPO Volunteers and the Rochester Philharmonic League are offering the Gibbs Street Assistance Program, which provides a helping hand to patrons who may need assistance entering the Eastman Theatre for Philharmonics Series, WPOP Series and Casual Sunday Matinee concerts. This service applies to passengers only – drivers will still need to park their own cars. For more information, call the RPO Box Office at 454-2100.
